Emporio Armani Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2017-2018

Besides the outfit looks, I wanted to prepare for you also articles about the shows that I loved during this fashion month, and the first one on my schedule is Emporio Armani Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2017-2018. Armani Collections have aways been a very eye-catching for me: very simple and geometrical shapes are very interesting for me and I always loved the simplicity of the overall collection.

The whole collection is marked by a metropolitan spirit, a very sensual touch of restless and contrast shapes. There are many opposites mixed that actually render the collection seem simple and dynamic at the same time. Prevailing contrasts  are black and white – which we could call a typical Armani fashion. Chevron and polka dots patterns are applied to suits and coats, marking all the outfits in a very “black tie” and elegant touch.

Besides very simple shapes and styles, the collection is also represented in a great dose of floral prints, sequins and embroiders. They outlay a totally different touch of the collection, but actually the one that fits it completely, and also renders it more fun and sophisticated.

2016 Review

natasa blair

We are already a couple of days in 2017 and I still haven’t prepared for you a decent 2016 review. I know all the bloggers are doing the same thing and spamming you with the same old story, but it’s a nice think to recap everything in one article and sum up all that happened to us. I think, bloggers or not, we should all do it: make a certain summary of the previous year. What we have expected, what we have succeeded to do, what we’ve tried but did’t go as planned, what surprised us and what made us stronger. In that way it will be easier to set up the new goals and remember the old ones as a certain benchmark.

First and foremost, the most important thing that happened to me in 2016 is that officially I am no longer a student. After years of hard work, long night studies, passed and failed exams, many new international friends and hangout dinners, the end has arrived to this life path. I have mentioned to you so many times, but the period at Bocconi was actually the best one of my life and the one I am the most proud of! Bocconi has offered me so many things, opened to me so many doors, prepared me to face the professional path and taught me that success depends solely on ourselves. If you ate thinking of maybe going to this university but have some doubts, it is highly recommended to any of you that are interested in business, finance and economics.

The graduation was an important step for me as it finally gave me the freedom to decide which way to go. After a long period of thinking, I have decided to give a chance to my dream and be my own boss, meaning to become a full time blogger. I am very passionate about my own time, how to organise it, and I like having the freedom of movement. For now, it is working quite fine even though I face many difficulties day by day. This doesn’t mean it was a bad decision, it just means that everything is going as it should. Every start is hard, and when it is not, well something is wrong for sure.

This decision led to many other changes. The one that is very important is the very new website that is available to you from October. I was working on it for some time and inserted some new categories that might be interesting for many of you. Besides the fashion style section, you can now find articles about beauty, travel, lifestyle, and inspiration. The latest category showed to be the most interesting one for many of you so I will make sure to write more in this section.

Becoming a full time blogger isn’t just about taking pictures. Actually, it is pretty much quite the opposite. Yes, doing some serious photoshoots of high quality is a very important part of this job, but what’s behind it counts much more, and that is the part that you guys don’t see much. Networking, contact with people, creation of good and interesting content, gaining of new skills are just some of the parts that I always have too keep pace with. Since I have put an accent on all those things, many new doors were opened to me. In 2016 I started working with many new brands: Asos, Woolwich, Parajumpers, Atos Lombardini, Burberry Beauty, Rituals Cosmetics, Furla, Storets, but the one I am the most proud of is the work with Christian Louboutin. It is actually the biggest dream come true that makes all the effort worth the sacrifice!

Having said that this job is not just about taking the pictures, it is also a lot about travel. I have always been a person on the move and that I have learnt from my parents. Since I was small, they were always taking me and my brother everywhere around Europe, to show us that being open is a great virtue and that opens many doors. I am just continuing that now, and in 2016 I have travelled a lot, especially to new places I have never been: Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Copenhagen, Munich, Sorrento, and most importantly, New York. It was the city I have always dreamed about visiting and it was finally possible during the summer holidays.

September was the first month I attended three fashion weeks (London, Milan and Paris) and I was really happy about this experience. It was very hectic and not easy, but it was definitely worth it: I have met so many new interesting people from the industry, I have learnt so many new things that were new small steps into making this job reality. In a month I am planning to do all 4 fashion weeks, so make sure you follow me along! 🙂

For me it is important to mention also that all this would not be possible without the support of my family, my mum and dad who have always believed in me and told me that hard work always pays off, without my brother who is there to tease me every once in a while but at the end go the day he is there for me no matter what, and without my dear friends who help me get through the day when everything seems to be falling apart!

Happy New Year! <3

Milano days

Milano, besides being my home for the last 8 years or so, has also become a kind of a in between stop as I am never here more than a week. Between London, Novi Sad and other travel destinations that I am always going to, it is never “an old story” to enjoy some Milanese days with my friend Petar and catch up with some regular habits. This is especially true now in these days when the city is a purely magical and totally in the Christmas mood. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is just a heaven for eyes and it is always filled with tourists that admire its beauty over and over again. Tale as old as time, but always breath-taking!

It was a rather chill day, this Sunday when we went our for a coffee, took some shots on the streets and went to check out the Christmas market next to Duomo. Not that it seemed extremely fabulous comparing it to those in Munich we saw a couple of days ago, but it was still nice to check out some Italian products and get them for my family when I go home next week.

About the look: the day was perfect for some ripped jeans, Eksept sweeter that I got in Munich and over-the-knee boots. In these days I got a dozens of boots like this so now when going to London and Novi Sad, I guess I will have a lot of new material to show you.

Smile with the rain || Milan

natasa blair

When the rain comes to Milan, there is actually not much to do but to actually accept the fact that the autumn has arrived and just try to fight it with a smile. In my case, I am always positive and look things from the bright side and find this as opportunity to make some different photos and change the mood of the content.

This weekend I was happy to have my friends by my side and we will be together for 6 days. Even though I am used to being alone most of the time, I am always very happy when I have someone from home coming to visit me as then home feels much closer. Then I can finally someone my two homes, have some fun in Milan but with the ones that are from where I come from. We took a lot of pictures, laughed, ate dozens of pizzas and crepes, and hanged out until late in the night. Actually, I can’t believe those days are actually almost over!

I am already thinking about my upcoming plans, and actually it will be anything but boring: I will be spending a day in Rome next week, then a three-day visit to Munich is awaiting with my dear Petar Milano, after which I will be going to London for some days. Before the New Year’s Eve I will be going home for 10 days for sure, as I really need to rest and relax before the craziness in January starts. Even though fashion weeks start in February, there are a lot of preparations that need to be done in advance.
