One of the hotels we stayed in Singapore was Hotel Grand Park City Hall. It was our first stop in Singapore and we really enjoyed it for three days. I loved it so much as it was so close to many restaurants, and just few walks away from the Clarke Quay and Singapore River (that area is amazing in the evening hours).
Hotel Grand Park City Hall is a brand new hotel that got opened a few months ago and it is still under reconstruction. Located in a prime spot in Singapore’s Civic District and within the Central Business District (CBD), Grand Park City Hall is a stone’s throw from major shopping malls such as Raffles City and Capitol Piazza.
Rooms are designed in a very modern local twist. All the floors are Peranakan-patterned tiles paired with colonial-inspired details. Every room is designed to offer so many technological conveniences that include touch sensitive lamps, charging ports for smartphone devices and energy efficient ceiling fans. You can imagine that for us who work in the digital world this is something very appealing. There is also a possibility to control everything with a mobile app and in-room touchpad control. Our room had a view over the Lion City’s iconic skyline, so this luxury lifestyle hotel is definitely a place for respite, away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
