Tod’s has always been one of the brands that I admired the most, and that is for many reasons. It managed to keep the timeless untouched trademark no matter the trends, but at the same time it followed the changes and adapted to them in the suitable manner. What is particular about Tod’s this time is that it interprets all those trends in a different manner, a different show that included animated scenes in motion which at the same time interacted with the guests. You will see now what mostly caught my eye this time.
Talking about Ready-To-Wear, a leather trend was not left out this season: a biker and peacoat, jackets, t-shirts and mini dresses. They were all crafted to create a modern lines of timeless wardrobe, expressing Tod’s aesthetics.
What I found mostly impressing is the timeless Tod’s T-Bag, that iconic Tod’s accessory, that we just can’t get enough of! It confers graphic light on shoulder bag with timeless aesthetic. It can be found in leather and other precious materials and other colours. The other bag is the Wave that comes with the maxi stripes, and at the same time mixing suede with stripe effects. It also plays with python patterns and multicolour, and it can be found in sizes from maxi to micro.
When we say Tod’s, for sure we thing of the fabulous Moccasin, and this time with the Double T that is the emblem of the new Tod’s style. Sneakers come with the new sole, in coloured suede, and they also exploit leathers of metallic urban light. The Tod’s Sandal draws on saddlery with a formidable crossing of bands and artisanal stitching in full view, in a sabot version or wrapping around the ankle. The Gommino interprets the summer in a sabot version, with the fringe and the chain. It also has the double T fastening and it can be found in many colours.
